Fitness and nutrition habits are like blocks you carefully stack. You research diets, download a workout and assemble the pieces one by one. You feel proud of what you’ve accomplished right up to the moment when life upsets the balance and it tumbles down around you.
I decided to become a trainer and wellness coach to help people learn how to navigate their health goals. Transformation happens when you shift your focus from what you’re losing to what you’re gaining. It’s not about losing a certain number of pounds, it’s about feeling more confident that you can manage your health over the next 30 years.

For most of my own journey I didn’t have a trainer. Over the years I’ve developed a passion for helping other people at the start of their journey. I wanted to offer support and encouragement beyond the small number of clients I can directly work with. I hope the resources on this site will help others to navigate the obstacles that have blocked them in the past. I’ll share some of the most helpful strategies, books and humor that I’ve collected over the years.
Resilient health habits take dedication and work to develop. They also pay off for a lifetime and have a way of spreading strong roots in other areas of your life that may surprise you. It will be hard, but it will be worth it.
